Alice Carpenter - Board Member of the Finance Board

Alice Carpenter was born and raised locally in Cherryville NC. She has lived in the Charlotte area for most of her professional life. Her family did move to Seattle, WA for 5 years when her husband went to work for Microsoft. Graduating from Appalachian State College with a degree in Health Care Management gave her the opportunity to travel in Germany for a month to learn about their healthcare systems. She loved travelling to hospitals all over the US installing hospital information systems. Alice has been married to John for over 30 years. They have a son and daughter that live in the Charlotte area. They enjoy traveling, boating and scuba diving. She loves to be in the kitchen with her family and friends.
